Celebrity Cricket team the
Lord's
Taverners
take on Windsor Cricket Club as a joint celebration of 75
years of
Windsor
and Eton Rotary Club
and the
Presidents day of
Windsor
Cricket Club.

Taverners
put on great display in the sun
Over a 1,000
people turned out at the Home Park last Sunday to see a
superb game in glorious weather between the Lord's
Taverners and Windsor Cricket Club. After setting
the Taverners 160 runs to win in 35 overs thanks to a
great knock by Oliver Birch the Taverners reached the
target in the 31st over despite the efforts of 16 year old
Chris Kellard who returned figures of 4-13.

Taverners Squad Announced
The Lord's
Taverners have announced their squad to face Windsor
Cricket Club in the FM Global Lord's Taverners game to be
played on July 23rd at the Home Park Windsor.
Skippered by Former England International they include
former England Players Jack Russell, Syd Lawrence and
Graham Roope as well as TV stars Chris Tarrant, Coronation
Streets Charles Lawson (Jim Macdonald) and also count
Charity Marathon runner Lloyd Scott (of London Marathon
Diver and St George fame.
