The Lord's Taverners have announced their squad to face Windsor Cricket Club in the FM Global Lord's Taverners game to be played on July 23rd at the Home Park Windsor.  Skippered by Former England International they include former England Players Jack Russell, Syd Lawrence and Graham Roope as well as TV stars Chris Tarrant, Coronation Streets Charles Lawson (Jim Macdonald) and also count Charity Marathon runner Lloyd Scott (of London Marathon Diver and St George fame) amongst their number.

Having attracted headline sponsorship we are currently seeking a sponsorship of individual tables in the main marquee in the company of the Lord's Taverners.  This will be a great way to obtain publicity, as well as obtain valuable Marketing and Social benefits on the day of the event - not to mention a superb day out!

The Lord's Taverners have announced that Mike Gatting OBE, the former England Test and Middlesex County captain and Television summariser will be taking part in the prestigious event in Windsor on the 23rd July.  As Mike is the current president of the Lord's Taverners their team will therefore be known as the Mike Gatting Lord's Taverners XI.  The Lord's Taverners were also able to name their Match Manager for the event as Mike Rafter, the former Bristol and England Rubgy Union Flanker.

Windsor Cricket Club and  The Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton are delighted to announce that Windsor-based commercial and industrial property insurer, FM Global, will be the headline sponsor of a charity cricket event they are organising which will be known as the FM Global Lord's Taverners Cricket Match. This is to be played at Home Park, Windsor on Sunday 23rd July 2006 between a Windsor Cricket Club XI and a Lord's Taverners XI.
