Windsor 4th XI 221 for 9 dec (50 Overs) O. Birch 54 not out, S. Martin 44, D. Bradbury 42, Niland 3/62.
Chiswick & Latymer 5th XI 181 all out (44.4 overs) Rauf 27, Aglat 27, D. Bradbury 3/40, S. Martin 2/15, H. Singh 2/40, U. Malik 2/52.

Result: Windsor won by 30 runs.

Windsor at last fullfilled their potential to pick up the maximum 25 pionts in what was once again a cliffhanger until the final half an hour of the match.Windsor were put in by Chiswick on a greenish Home Park wicket. Making a solid start, lead as normal by Scott Martin, Windsor pushed on until 4th new boy Damien Bradbury came to the crease. Playing with freedom and a little luck Bradbury decided to take it to the Chiswick attack. With wickets falling at the other end, he made a very quick fire 42 to put Windsor line for a defendable, but not large total. That was until Ollie Birch came to the crease at number 10! Playing with solid technique and power that put the top order to shame, he turn what looked like a total of 175 to leave the Windsor skipper Light, able to declare (on 221/9 after 50 overs) with a quick fire 54 not out, which included 11 boundaries! Leaving the oppositiion deflated going into tea.

Chiswick & Latymer knew a total of 222 would be a tough ask on this pitch, and they started slowly not to lose early wickets. Windsor bowlers Singh & Bradbury kept things tight and their patience was rewarded with Bradbury taking 2 wickets before drinks, leaving Chiswick at 70/2 off of 26 overs. This left the batting siding now needing 6.25 an over to win the game. With this in mind Light mixed the bowling around and brought on the Leg Spin of Malik to liven things up. This changed the game in a spell of just 5 overs. Although he went for over 10 runs an over, Malik took 2 quick wickets and a run out with a direct hit to leave the batting side tottering. With this happening Light went for the kill, bringing, back Bradbury and Martin, to finish off the tail, leaving the batting side 30 runs short.
