Gould sacks Baggers
Bagshot 2s 193/8 - Endacott 52,
Windsor 2s 194/3 - Gould 142*
Bagshot 2's turned up at Home Park, with 8 players and an uphill climb. Being such a sport Gary Sangha offered Windsor players Nandan and Endacot, whilst claiming Michael Gould for himself.
This move appeared to have backfired spctacularly as Endacott fired only his second 50 in 19 years of cricket, as Bagshot set an intimidating 193. He was well supported by some bloke called Paul and another one called Neill..who helped the score along, aided by some dreadful donkey drops by Windsors bowlers ;-)....Still not sure how Captain Sangha managed to bowl sooo many overs in a limited overs game..surely number of overs per bowler is limited also!!
Windsor's chase was a foregone conclusion after Captain Sangha decided that no-one else should get a game apart from him and young Gould. Despite some heroics from Bagshot 13 year olds Lucas and David, Gould unsurprisingly decimated the Bagshot bowling racing to 142 and easing the home side to the total. The only bright spot being the dismissal of Dawson, caught in the covers by Windor's nemesis.
