Windsor Under 15's win Camberley 6's

Windsor CC U15’s were triumphant on Bank Holiday Monday, at the Inaugural Six A Side Tournament held at Camberley C C.
Windsor were paired against the hosts in the opening match, on the main square and in an exciting but controlled manner Windsor chased down a good opening game score of 54. Baghsot, were our second opponents, although they scored an impressive 61 from 5 overs, Windsor again never lost belief in chasing the credible total down. Farnham represented the last obstacle in attempting to reach the final, with tight bowling and all round good fielding Windsor got the better of a strong Farnham team.
Rhys (Windsor CC captain) won the final coin toss and elected to field. With a good delivery from Rhys with his opening ball of the first over, Kristan caught a fine catch off Camberley's in form opening batsman. Camberley were then restricted to 42 for 6 off six overs (final increased to seven per side). Jeevan retired on 25+ not out and with support from Ben, Kristan finished the game off with one of the biggest sixes of the day to win by six wickets.
Kristan won the individual honour for best bowling figures, Jeevan for most runs scored (80) and Windsor won the overall trophy as deserved un-beaten champions.
On a positive note this is hopefully the start of a strong campaign to win further honours during the coming season.
Team; Rhys Bryant (cpt), Jack Barton, Ben Francis (wkt), Kristan Baumgartner, Jeevan Singh, Ryan Lewin & Ollie Jordan.
