Marlow Park 4th XI 151 All Out (49.1 Overs) Wed 23, D. Hawkins 20, Venu 20, H. Singh 6-62, S. Martin 1-7.

Windsor 4th XI 141 All out (45.1 Overs) A. Johal 42, H. Cassidy 4-31, Hatch 3-21.

Result Marlow Park Won by 10 runs.

Once again Windsor let themselves down when their second succesive victory beckoned. Windosr skipper Light won the toss and put marlow in on a greenish Home Park wicket. This was proved to be a good decision as H. Singh ripped through the top order (finishing with 6-62). Singh's swing bowling accounted for the 1st five Marlow Park batsman and left them reelling at 100-6. To give credit to the lower order batsman they dug in, under pressure, to set a defendable total of 151. The impression form marlow Park was if you could dismiss Windsor star batsman Scott Martin cheaply they would be in with a grest chance. This proved the outcome. It had to happen sometime, but Martin went for a duck in the second over. To give credit to the other Windsor batsman the held things together well taking the score up to 104-4, with A. Johal being the pick eventually bowled for 42. This and the introduction of Marlow Park leg spinner started the dismise of Windsors batsman. In all 8 of the Windsor side got into double figures with only 1 being able to push on beyond 20 runs. Marlow Park's Cassidy took four quick wickets and eventually Hatch wrapped things up in the 46th over, leaving Windsor highly dissappointed, being in touching distance of victory.

Farnham Common 3rd X1 178 All Out (45.1 Overs) K.Nickless 41, H.Singh 3-24, S.Martin 3-35, O Birch 3-53

Windsor 4th X1 180 for 8 (48.1 Overs) S.Martin 117*

Result - Windsor Won by 2 Wickets

Its taken a while, but Windsor finally got their first win of the season under their belts in a professional performance away at Farnham Common. Batting sensation Scott Martin again stole the show with his third successive hundred. Windsor won the toss and on a very green wicket acting skipper Gegg decided to back his new look bowling attack and put 'Farnham' into bat. The return from university of last season's bowling spearhead Ollie Birch gave Windsor an exciting and hostile new ball attack for the first time this season. Birch and Lewis got stuck straight into Farnham's top order sending four of them back to the pavillion with only 42 on the board. Gardiner and Nickless then dug in and put them back into the game, but tight bowling from Scott Martin and Harvey Singh was the catalyst for the batting collapse Windsor had hoped for and Farnham Royal were all out for 178, four of whom were caught behind by wicket-keeper Ollie Smith who had a great game behind the stumps on a difficult wicket. A gettable target but the green wicket was definately a bowlers wicket if the ball was put in the right areas. All season Windsor have suffered from poor batting at the top of the order, and Windsor were quickly 49-4 after some good opening bowling. But with Scott Martin still at the crease it was sensible batting that was needed, acting skipper Gegg came to the crease and provided that support. A partnership of 65 pushed the pendulum back in Windsor's favour, and further sensible batting from Webster, Jackson and Lewis pushed Windsor to 174-8 and with only four needed to win it was apt that man of the season Scott Martin was there, to hit Fearon for six over the leg side boundary to give Windsor a deserved win. With further university boys due back over the next two weeks things are starting to look very encouraging as Windsor's march up the table continues......

Windsor 4th X1 204 All Out (50 Overs) S.Martin 138, Reeves 4-72

North Maidenhead 4th X1 205 for 4 (47 Overs) Tuckfield 38, Follett 38, S.Martin 2-39

Result - North Maidenhead Won by 6 Wickets

Despite a magnificent 138 by Aussie superstar Scott Martin it was not enough to give a depleted Windsor side victory over a solid North Maidenhead. Windsor who only had four players from the team that played the previous Saturday due to a catalogue of injuries and unavailabilities put up a good fight despite only having three recognised out and out bowlers. North Maidenhead won the toss and elected to bowl, obviously having taken note of recent Windsor batting performances, but for the first time this season Windsor secured maximum batting points after a determined batting performance. Scott Martin deserves all the plaudits for his sparkling 138, but messrs Lickley and Gegg should take some credit for some staunch support batting allowing two 60+ partnerships, they both kept one end tight despite some spirited bowling to give Martin some solid support. The big question was always going to be was 204 ever going be enough, with only three recognised bowlers. A poor start with a catalogue of extras gave North Maidenhead a dream start and they never looked back, Martin followed up his batting heroics with some tight bowling (15-1-39-2), this combined with some fast bowling and two wickets for Lewis made it much more of a contest, and at one stage Windsor were right back in it, but Maidenhead always had the wickets in hand, and in the end sensible batting saw them home. But with players back available next week, there are a number of positives for the week ahead.

Windsor 4th XI 188 All Out (43 Overs) S. Martin 107, C. Light 23, R. Brown 3/22, A. Rawlings 2/30.

NPL Teddinton 4th XI 192 for 7 (34 Overs) P. Manns 41, N. Harris 39, C. Light 3/28, M. Walkett 3/62.

Result - NPL Teddington Won by 3 Wickets

A sparkling run-a-ball century from Aussie Star Batsman Scott Martin was give Windsor 4th XI victory over earlier front runners NPL Teddington. Winning the toss, Windsor Skipper Light, decided to have a bat on surprisingly good wicket for May. Windsor once didn't bat to their potential, exposing the tail at 94/5 off of 20 overs. This left Martin & Light at the crease needing to steady the innings. Light though, had other ideas hitting 23 in quick style, before trying one too many and being clean bowled by Ward on 23. Martin then decided himnself to play some expeansive cricket, knowing the tail on this Windsor Terrier certainly wagged! Finaaly just before the end Brown must take a mentin by being the 1st person this season to take Martin's wicket and leave him on an average of 295!!!!! , leaving Windsor 50 runs short of a par score.

In reply, Teddington took the ball by the horns and ruthlessly punished the opening bowling of Khanna & Johal until the impressive debutant Walkett bowled Manns for 41, leaving the home side on 103/2 off of 14 Overs. Windsor then fought back, with excellent bowling by both Walket & Light reducing Teddington to 165/7. Despite this, Teddington reached the required total without further loss showing that this game was lost by Windsor's poor batting.
