Windsor CC Christmas Party



Dear club members

This years annual Christmas party will take place on Saturday 13th of December in the pavilion bar

All members, colts, parents, partners and friends are welcome and the entrance fee will be £3

There will be a DJ and some light nibbles provided

Dress Code: Smart (no trainers)
Start: 7.30pm
Finish: 12pm

come down the club and finish off the year in festive style!!!

End of season Ball- 'Party on the Park'



Dear club members

This year is the first annual end of season ball and will be held in the evening of the 13th September in a specially erected marquee on the C1 outfield.

Tickets are £50 pp and £90 for a couple.

It will be the culmination of the 2008 season and will be a 'suited and booted' (club tie) affair.

There will be a Pimms reception, a 2 course hograost meal will be served, with wine on the table, players awards, a raffle, a live band and a DJ so we can party the night away at the CC and finish the season is style….

2008 South African Beach party



On Saturday 23rd August, WCC pavilion bar hosts the annual beach party, this year with a south african twist....

Please turn up in your loudest beach shirt that you own (the worse the better) and enjoy the South African tunes, the large BBQ and beach bar themed cocktails.....




Dress code: Loud shirts

Time: 8pm till 12

All are welcome, especially colts, parents and partners and as its bank holiday weekend we can all let our hair down......

(PS the profits from the BBQ and the cocktails will go directly into the net fund)

Windsor CC pool and darts competition 2008




Back again for its 3rd year, the annual winner takes all pool and darts challenge in the WCC bar
£5 entry per sport, and the winner takes all!
Hot food will be cooked and the bar will be open so please bring partners and friends to join in

Interclub Twenty:20 match




On Fri 20th June - the annual Interclub Twenty:20 match takes place at Home Park
This year the two teams that are going head to head are:
'Free & Single XI'
vs.
'Under the Thumb XI'
The game kicks off at 5.30 sharp. the teams will be playing in coloured clothing, full Twenty:20 rules, white ball, each batsman has his own theme song and there will be music and commentary throughout the game. The Bar will be open, and a BBQ will be on the balcony.
Those of you that have played or watched before, know the banter, and this year will be no different.
All colts, parents and partners are encouraged to come and watch this exciting format of the game live in Windsor.......

CURRYOKE- Sat 17th May




Dear club members
On Sat the 17th May, the club bar will be hosting another famous 'CURRYOKE' evening, cobining great food and err great singing.....!
A curry will be served from 8 pm, and there will be free Karaoke all evening (just try and keep Nobsy off it as much as possible!)
Please come down and get the league season off to a fine start.

Windsor CC Golf day and Cheese and Wine Evening




On Friday the 28th March, Windsor CC has its first 'all dayer' social event.

Windsor CC's annual golf day will be taking place on Friday 28th March at Stockley Park Golf Club. Those of you have attended before will know that it is open to golfers of all abilities and is without fail a really good day out. (Tickets are on sale from Oli Birch)


08.30 meet for coffee and bacon rolls

09.28 - 10.00 tee off times

14.00pm rolling lunches (choice of sausage and mash or ham, egg and chips)


Price per head is £25 which includes breakfast, golf, lunch and prizes for top 3 golfers, longest drive and nearest the pin. This is an open event, friends and partners are more than welcome.


To make things even better Kitch is hosting the annual 'WCC cheese and wine evening' on the 28th as well.


Tickets are £12.50 for the evening (and are available in advance only from Smithy, Taz or Kitch).


For that all the wine you can drink and cheese you can eat is included!


Again this event is for all members and partners. The evening will start about 7.30 pm in the cricket club pavilion.
